The Nest Child Care and Parent Institute (NEST) believes in bringing awareness to topics related to child development & health as well as other family-friendly resources. Use the Parent Institute to find links and resources for parents, guardians and grand-parents.

  • Keeping you in the know: On Day 1, you'll receive your first update about your child's experience.  After that, daily communication via our HiMama app will be valuable pieces of communication about your child's daily experiences.

  • We are proud to host monthly Family Involvement Activities to celebrate all of the special bonds in a family.  You can find the annual calendar of events under Parent Involvement.

  • Looking for new family-friendly links for yourself or your child who is beginning to use a computer with your guidance?  We have you covered in our Family-Friendly Links area.

  • Need new titles to add to your collection at home or list for the library? We are raising readers at Nest so we encourage reading to your children. We provide Book Recommendations from well-known authors and illustrators, and New York Times Bestsellers. Our book recommendations will give you ideas on books to choose from and read to your little ones.

  • Refer to First Day Checklist for a list of necessary items to bring along on your child's first day.  These items will help to ensure your child's comfort at Nest Child Care and Parent Institute.

  • Nest is all about learning and making learning fun and engaging. With Learning Links we don't reinvent the wheel; we just bring the best of early childhood learning internet resources to our families in the form of learning links.  Our links are an e-learning journey from a collection of third-party resources or "learning links" that correlate to the Learning Link Lesson Plan - free of charge.

  • When looking for a child care provider, know the right questions to ask. To make a confident decision in regards to care and education for your child, you need to know the right questions to ask.  Our Parent Checklist will provide a reference guide during your review process.  We recommend you use this checklist to ask questions and compare Nest Child Care and Parent Institute with other providers.
