Here are a few activities for the whole family to enjoy while learning and exploring transportation. Use these activities to point out different modes of transportation, how each vehicle is used for each mode and the similarity/differences of each vehicle.

 

Take a wagon to the park or zoo.

Bike around the neighborhood.

Go for a walk.

Take a bus ride.

Ride the Q line train.

Visit a train station.

Go to the river/lake/ocean/beach to watch different boats in the water.

Play with boats in the bathtub.

Drive to the airport.

Talk about road safety and pulling over for emergency vehicles.
